19th century antique New England oak splint market basket. This basket is quite strong and very well made with a hickory handle and braced base. Measures 14 inches wide and sixteen and one half inches to the top of its handle. The basket is in excellent condition with just a small section of a cross piece missing at the handle joint which we show in one of the pictures provided
